In Oxford Street today, a newly-formed trade union for Father Christmases picketed Selfridges store.The aim is 'to protect the fantasies of children from exploitation' said Mr Ed Berman of the Inter-Action Trust, which has launched the Union. The demonstration ended up in the police marching them off to the Station where they were charged with obstruction. 17th December 1969.
